Biography

Dr. Kurt Norlin earned a bachelor’s in physics from UC San Diego and, after three years in the Marine Corps, returned to academia to earn a doctorate in philosophy from UC Irvine. His area of specialization is ethical theory, but his research and teaching interests also include logic, epistemology, and philosophy of education. He has taught at UC Irvine, Mount Saint Mary’s College, and Orange Coast College. At CGU he has taught and served on examination committees in both the Philosophy Department and the School of Educational Studies. He is married and has two college-age children.
