Professional Biography
Dr. Tathagata Dasgupta earned his Bachelor of Sciences in Statistics from the Presidency College of Calcutta, Masters of Arts in Statistics from the State University of New York at Buffalo and dual Ph.D.s in Operations Research and Business Administration from Penn State University. He is currently Executive Vice President of XAVOR Inc., where he is responsible for Strategic Business Consulting in Value Chain Management, Corporate Performance Management, Business Intelligence, and Innovation in Technology. As a Strategy Officer and Educator, he regularly conducts Exploratory workshops in large corporations with business executives in the above areas. Dr. Dasgupta also teaches in and chairs doctoral dissertation committees on Emerging Managerial Practices and Leadership at the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he teaches Operations Management in Peter Drucker School of Business. During his doctoral studies, he was responsible for teaching several undergraduate classes at Penn State University. More over, he was nominated thrice for the best instructor award while at Penn and was awarded the Best Faculty on Campus based on student votes.
