Darleen Schuster, Ph.D.

Darleen Schuster served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine as well as the Assistant Director for the Master of Public Health program at the University of Southern California (USC). Her research interests include health communication, specifically the evaluation of statewide tobacco control campaigns and the assessment of pro-tobacco marketing activities. She received an M.A. in Communications Management from USC’s Annenberg School for Communication, an M.P.H. in Community Health Education from California State University, Northridge and a PhD in Preventive Medicine (Health Behavior Research) from USC. She is a certified health education specialist (CHES).
