The small painting of a Colorado mountain sunrise provides an abstract backdrop of beauty, a quality that impels his worldview. An aluminum cup from his immigrant grandparents reminds him of their generosity and wisdom while the roughly hewn white "prayer bowl" symbolizes openness and waiting - empty, imperfect and whole.
The dove sculpture from Italy conjures notions of stillness and serenity, while the bronze crucifix provides him with a compelling depiction of selfless service and integrity. The Bamboo provides a graceful reminder of the East, and its profound contributions to contemplative tradition.
Catholic Travel Centre - Worldwide Tours and Pilgrimages

The organization, a small business, provides reflective educational and transformational travel experiences.
The model ocean liner was a gift bequeathed by his business partner and beloved mentor, the late Henry Avakian. The globe represents the firm's operating terrain, and the converter/adaptor appliance reminds him of the role the company plays in the lives of its customers, building bridges between the customer's inner and their outer worlds.
The miniature tree symbolizes the company's "bonsai business model" - strong and small, beautiful and whole. The wooden star carries dual meanings - a commitment to reach for excellence and a symbol of journey as in "following the star." All these items are placed against the backdrop of the serving tray, a resolute commitment to service that rests behind everything else.
