Amy Davila
Founder & CEO, ArtSmart

With over 15 years of art gallery experience working with such prestigious galleries as David Zwirner, David Kordansky Gallery, Perry Rubenstein Gallery and Overduin & Kite, combined with an MBA from the University of Texas in Accounting, Amy Davila has been developing the front-end design and architecture for ArtSmart for the last two years. Before entering the art world, Amy worked as an international consultant for Ernst & Young LLP in Houston and San Francisco. In 2009 Amy started her own consultancy business working as a financial advisor and accountant for artists and contemporary art galleries in Los Angeles and New York.

Karen McManus
Senior Appraiser, Jacqueline Silverman Assoc. Inc., Appraisers of Modern and Contemporary Art

Karen began her appraisal career with JS&A in 2006 following several years as the permanent collection registrar at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. She received her B.A. in art history from UCLA and masters degrees in art history and museum studies from Syracuse University. Karen is an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor and teaches in the appraisal studies program at New York University. She is a certified member and current board member of the Appraisers Association of America.
