Latino Leaders in Arts Management Fellowship
Diversity is an essential component of the institutional mission of Claremont Graduate University. CGU prepares diverse students for critical, creative leadership responsibilities and research in an ever-changing world that requires broad experience and sound judgment. The growing presence of Latinos in the United States has profound implications for the future of arts leadership in our nation and the world.
The M.A. in Arts Management is currently seeking outstanding applicants for the Latino Leaders in Arts Management fellowships.
Arts Management Fellows receive up to a 50 percent tuition fellowship for the 48 credits required for the Arts Management Program. Fellows are appointed as assistants in the department and serve as mentors, spokespersons, and active members of their class.
Requirements
- Be a U.S citizen of Latino heritage.
- Have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
- Have a proven record of three to five years of leadership in the arts community in visual arts, dance, theater, music, cultural centers or arts education, preferably Latino art organizations or
- Be a recent undergraduate nominated by a faculty member as an emerging arts leader.

Please include in your application a description of your leadership experience and involvement in the arts and a letter from a faculty member or an arts organization nominating you as an emerging Latino Leader in Arts Management.
