Message from Dean

     Here at SES you will find one of the most unique approaches to graduate study anywhere in the world. Plans of study are crafted individually to match students’ passions, curiosity and career goals. We offer an intimate academic experience so that students can take full advantage of our nationally and internationally known faculty. Grounded in the values of social justice and accountability, SES is leading the transformation of education PreK-16. We are committed to understanding and acting so that the benefits of a rigorous education are extended to every single individual on the globe. We provide a rich academic laboratory for scholarly research rooted in practice, and draw upon an outstandingly diverse community, including the Los Angeles Unified School District, local school districts, community colleges, a variety of four-year postsecondary institutions and the renowned Claremont Colleges.

     If you care about challenging the status quo and making a difference in the lives of learners at all educational levels, you will find your niche here at SES.
