Dr. Scott Simpson, Assistant Provost

Dr. Scott Simpson joined CGU as Assistant Provost on November 2, 2008. His work in the area of program assessment includes the decennial reviews of CGU schools, WASC accreditation, program and faculty development, survey design and analysis, and operational analysis of program effectiveness. He is CGU’s Accreditation Liaison Officer with WASC. His past positions include Special Assistant to the Vice Chancellor of the University of California Irvine, Director of Data Systems and Research at the Center for Educational Partnerships, and Research Coordinator and Manager, Educational Evaluator, Department of Education, all at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Simpson was also Director of Research and Planning, South Orange County Community College District. He received a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.
