Volker Drecoll is Chair of Early Church History at the University of Tuebingen, Germany. he will present a lecture entitled “The Myth about Augustine's Theory of Persons." Professor Drecoll is the author of Die Entstehung der Gnadenlehre and Augustinhandbuch and a contributor to Augustinus-Lexikon, Vol. 3. He is currently working on a critical edition of Augustine's De gratia et libero arbitrio for the Corpus Scriptorum Ecclesiasticorum Latinorum (Vienna). His current research interests are in the Christology and Pneumatology of Augustine and the Cappadocians.
