John Erickson, PhD Student in Women's Studies in Religion

John Erickson has been named the Co-Chair for WESCOR's Queer Studies in Religion Caucus alongside Claremont Graduate University alumna Dr. Marie Cartier.  During the 3-year appointment, John will be responsible for drafting calls for papers and presentations and selecting pieces of scholarship that will advance the study of religion from a queered perspective to be presented at the annual WESCOR Conference.  He will also be responsible for maintaining and running the Queer Studies in Religion Caucus' annual meetings as well as being an advocate for furthering queer studies in religion scholarship.  John is very honored and excited to be a part of this amazing group.  For more information about WESCOR's  Queer Studies in Religion Caucus please email John Erickson at jerickson85@gmail.com or find us on Facebook under "Queer Studies in Religion".
