New Dean in the School of Religion

New Dean, Tammi J. Schneider, in the School of Religion

Effective July 1, 2011 the School of Religion at Claremont Graduate University has a new Dean, Tammi J. Schneider.  Professor Schneider earned her PhD in Ancient History from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.  She has been teaching at CGU over 18 years and has shared her unique and rich research interests with many CGU graduates. 

Dr. Schneider also brought with her and continues to share her valuable museum and excavation interests and expertise with our students.  In the summer of 2010, she was the Director of Education for the ongoing excavation in Tel akko, Israel to which she is returning in the summer of 2011.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSTANmoC0QY
