Vijay Sathe (Drucker) was the panel organizer and moderator for “Can ‘Identity Rights’ Improve the Life of the Poor and Enable them to Enter the Formal Economy?”, a competitively selected panel symposium for the “All Academy Theme Program on The Informal Economy,” Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Boston; and “Massive Social Innovation and Change: Identity Rights vs. Property Rights; Bringing BOP into the Formal Economy; Transforming a Nation,” another competitively selected panel symposium for the Annual Meeting of the European Academy of Management, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He was also the conference co-organizer and co-leader of “Think Forward Latin America Forum: Strategies, Solutions, Sustainability” at the International Forum at INCAE Business School in Costa Rica (with simultaneous translations in English and Spanish): Researcher Forum as well as the Practitioner Forum. Sathe also published “The greening of Wal-Mart: Beauty and the beast,” a book review, in the Journal of Corporate Citizenship.
