Karen Torjesen (Religon) and Margaret Grogan (Educational Studies) conducted a transdisciplinary course “Gender, Leadership and Culture in Southern Africa,” on location at the University of Botswana. Gender Studies faculty gave seminars in the mornings and in the afternoons students visited NGOs dealing with the same issues. One of the highlights was a safari in the Okavango Delta.
