International Students

We strongly urge international students to consult the Office of Admission and Records and speak with the International Student Affairs office for complete guidelines on compliance with visa and Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) requirements. The office can be reached by emailing or by calling (909) 607-0434.

All international students should review the information for International Students regarding obtaining an I-20 or DS-2019 to CGU. Please feel free to contact the International Staff with any questions or concerns you may have on this process.

Specific regulations exist for international students regarding:

  • Registration
  • Change of Degree/Field Paperwork
  • Program extensions
  • Leaves of Absence
  • Employment (on-campus, off-campus, and post-completion)

Students may wish to re-review the information provided at orientation by downloading the International Student Requirements for SEVIS handout found at In addition, students may gather more details about any of these topics by visiting the International Students website or speaking to one of the International Student Services staff.

For more information specific to international applicants, please visit our International Student Page or contact the International Student Coordinator at, or by calling (909) 607-0434.
