Housing

Housing in Claremont can be a challenging experience. However, by doing some thoughtful and advanced planning, you can minimize costs.  Since housing in Claremont is limited, it is recommended that you begin your search early if you wish to secure housing within close proximity to the University.  The end of the spring semester (May) is always a good time to start your search since there are a nmber of students returning home for the summer or who are graduating.

CGU offers affordable student housing. For a list of current prices and an application, visit the campus housing website. The Claremont University Consortium’s Office of Real Estate and Housing also provides useful resources to those in the market for rental housing. They maintain a list of apartment communities within roughly a six-mile radius of the campus. They also provide referral listings of local rooms for rent in close proximity to the university.
