  • The participating mentors represent various professions and majors. Each student is matched with an alumna/alumnus mentor based upon the student's career interest with the mentor's professional expertise.

A Drucker Alumna/Alumnus Career Mentor can:

  • Give students an overview of his or her industry
  • Talk about the trends that are occurring in his or her field
  • Tell students about various career options within that industry
  • Help students clarify their short and long term career goals
  • Describe a typical day at his or her place of employment
  • Discuss his or her career path
  • Describe the rewards and challenges of his or her job

(NOTE: Drucker Alumni Career Mentors should not be expected to find summer jobs, internships, or full-time positions for students. This program is not considered a job placement service.)
