Biography

N. Leticia Cervantes has been a bilingual educator for over 15 years. She has served her community as a health and parent educator in a non-profit agency, as an elementary bilingual teacher in public schools, and as an administrator in a dual immersion charter school that she helped establish. She has also been a part-time instructor for Chapman University teaching a course on foundations in education to preservice teachers. She is currently a Ph.D. student with research interests in the areas of language and culture, parent partnerships in schools, and pre-service teacher education.

Leticia has two young daughters, Paloma and Isabella, who enrich and balance her life.
