BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Katrina L. Bledsoe holds a MA degree from San Francisco State University and is (ABD) in psychology with an emphasis in social psychology from Claremont Graduate University. Ms. Bledsoe has taught a variety of courses including but not limited to research methods and statistics, psychology of women, communities of color, and social psychology. Ms. Bledsoe’s research interests lie within the areas of cultural contexts, social psychology, drug use and crime prevention among adolescents of color, as well as theory-driven community-based evaluation research. Additionally, she has had over six years of project directing and project management experience and has received or been a consultant on several grants and contracts focusing on drug and crime prevention to school-based and higher education. Finally, Ms. Bledsoe has extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative methodology, specifically focus group, interview and meta-analytic techniques.
