Manuel's research interests center on intercollegiate athletics.
Manuel Silva has eleven years of professional experience in the field of Exercise Science with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning and five years of experience working in higher education. In these fields he has worked as a physical education instructor at Indiana State University (School of Health and Human Performance) and as head men’s and women’s soccer coach at College of the Desert.
Manuel is currently the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Citius Altius Fortius Athletic Performance, a professional company that offers strength and conditioning services for elite athletes. As the Director, he is responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for different sports and athletes. Manuel is certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has a Professional Soccer Coach License by the United States Soccer Federation.
