Biography
Roslyn Soto's research interests include the persistence, retention, and achievement of underrepresented students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). She has worked in higher education since 1999, focusing on school-university partnerships. She is currently the Director of the Claremont Long Beach Math Collaborative, an initiative that seeks to increase the number of students from North Long Beach who excel in mathematics and gain admission to top colleges and universities. Prior to joining the staff at CGU, Ms. Soto served as Co-Director for the UCI National Science Foundation (NSF) Math & Science Partnership grant (FOCUS) at the University of California, Irvine. Her research interests include the persistence, retention, and achievement of underrepresented students in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
