BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Professor Michelle Johnson currently teaches in and serves as the Program Coordinator of the Applied Women’s Studies Program at Claremont Graduate University. She holds the Bachelor of Science Degree in the area of Psychology from Old Dominion University, the Master of Divinity Degree from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University and the Master of Arts Degree in Mass Communications from Norfolk State University. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. in Religion at Claremont Graduate University her research area is Race, Religion and Sexuality in Black America 1990-2000.
