Kayaking Trip! (April 26,2013)

Thanks to Jordan Knopp, our Student Affairs Committee Head, we were able to organize a sunset paddle kayaking trip. At approximately 3PM we set off in our carpool caravan to enjoy a lovely view, some good times, and maybe a little bit of a competitive spirit. Only a few of us got wet, a few got sore, a few got tired, but we were ALL hungry once we were finally done. We mosied on over to Red Robin to get some grub, and watch a friend get a birthday sundae. Hopefully next time will be just as sweet.

Tie Dye! (March 27, 2013)

It wasn't the biggest of our events, but the people who came to Tie Dye really enjoyed it. Because people brought their own clothes, we had some people dying some strange things - like pillowcases. Hopefully we can add this as part of another bigger event to get more people involved.

 

Karaoke Night (March 8, 2013)

One of our most popular events, Karaoke night is always a blast. Give us some beer, some youtube karaoke, and a group of friends and we will have fantastic night. Hopefully we will be able to bring back Karaoke again, because it's a hit!

 

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes (March 2, 2013)

Even though this wasn't a GSC event, GSC did walk together. We'd thought we'd share with you some of our priceless moments.

Snacks & Facts (February 25th & 28th, 2013)

As a way to get the information out about our open elections, we held information sessions at 3pm & 7pm on the 25th and 28th at the GSC House. To help encourage people to stop by, the Student Affairs Committee had games and snacks in between the sessions. We hope to have people by more often just to hang out and snack with us. We had TONS of food, ice cream, and sangria. Thanks to everyone who came by.

Open House: Ice Cream Social (February 19, 2013)

It was our first event of the semester and it was a blast! We had people over to enjoy ice cream with tons of toppings, root beer floats, pizza (pie, rolls, & bites), a few drinks, and even more tasty things. We finally got to try out our new Apple TV, so we had good music too. Hopefully this was a sign of a good semester to come!
