Hacker On-Line
This is an on-line writers' reference with exercises based on the 6th edition of A Writer's Reference by Diana Hacker. It contains good basic information for graduate writing, from how to do research to writing approaches and grammar exercises. The site is maintained by the publisher Bedford/St. Martins. 

OWL at Purdue
This is Purdue University's Online Writing Lab (OWL). It contains great resources for all aspects of research and writing. It is also a very handy site to bookmark to quickly look up MLA and APA documentation style.
