Innovative technologies for health promotion, research, and education
The greatest challenge to global health is the rise of chronic non-communicable diseases, including cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, and certain cancers. These now account for over 60 percent of the world’s mortality, with 80 percent of these deaths occurring in developing nations.
