Workshops

The Writing Center sponsors free workshops each semester, several in conjunction with professors from various disciplines. Some workshops address general writing topics while others deal with more specific issues such as grant proposals, writing for publication in scholarly journals, and technical writing. 


Current Writing Center Workshops

  •  Dissertation Writing Workshop -- Ambereen Dadabhoy
     This workshop is meeting biweekly on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 pm in Harper 1 throughout the semester.  Check with the Writing Center for current topics.
  • Research, Documentation and Using APA -- Katya Fairbanks (March 11, 2008)
  • Successful Grant Writing with Guest Speaker Sue Keith (April 11, 2008) (in conjunction with the Office of Career Management)
