Maguire Intercollegiate Award

The Maguire fund at CGU is devoted to supporting graduate student teaching or research assistantships for CGU students among the five colleges faculty.  The goal for this funding is to create more opportunities for students to work closely with the undergraduate faculty who participate in CGU programs. Not only will the student gain research and teaching experience, but this is also a way of honoring and supporting the college faculty active in CGU programs, strengthening field committees, and enhancing cooperation within the consortium.

For each TA request, the proposal should include:

1. The student's full name

2. The professor's full name and home school

3. The course involved

4. The expected contribution of the TA. According to the needs of the professor these positions may include some lecturing and other forms of instruction in front of the class, but may also be limited to grading, leading small group discussions, etc.

For each RA request, the proposal should include:

1. The student's full name

2. The professor's full name and home school

3. A short description of the research project on which the student will work

4. The type of work the student will perform
