SPE Email List Subscriptions

To subscribe to any of our email lists, send an email to lyris@lyris.cgu.edu  Leave the subject BLANK.
In the body of the message, type:

subscribe [listname]

Below are the different available subscription lists.  After the word "subscribe" one of the following lists should follow (i.e., subscribe econ_stu).

econ_stu   (Department of Economics Students)

pp_stu  (Department of Politics & Policy Students)

cpe_stu (School of Politics & Economics Students)

spealumni (SPE Alumni)

spenews (SPE Newswatch)

How to set up your CGU Email in Outlook Express:

1. Open Outlook Express
2. Go to the Tools Menu
3. Choose Accounts
4. Click on the Mail tab
5. Choose Add then select Mail
6. Type in a Display Name - what you want your account to be named
7. Click on Next
8. Then type in your cgu email address
9. Click on Next
10. Set the incoming and outgoing POP3 server to be: mail.cgu.edu
11. Click on Next
12. Then type in your login and password (the one you use when logging into webmail.cgu.edu)
13. Click Finish

How to look up names in the CGU address book:

1. Log into your mail.cgu.edu account through a web browser
2. Select Compose
3. Select the Address icon
4. Type in a name into the blank field and click search for their email address
