What's New? (For 5C Instructors)
As changes occur to CGU policies and procedures, this page will list items of interest for 5C instructors teaching CGU students. Links to complete information are provided for Internal purposes (faculty and staff) as well as for referring CGU students. In general, CGU students should always be referred to the registrar's website at www.cgu.edu/registrar/.
Registration in 5C Courses. CGU students who wish to register in a 5C course must complete and submit to their department a completed CGU Registration Form for Courses Offered at the 5Cs. Details for students are provided on the Register for Classes webpage.
Official CGU Grades. The following changes have been made to CGU's official grades. (Complete information at Transcript Legend or the Internal Grades & Grading webpage.)
- PI (Permanent Incomplete) has been discontinued. U (Unsatisfactory) is the default grade for I (Incomplete) grades if no alternate grade is provided by the instructor.
- Y (Unreported Evaluation) is assigned if no grade is submitted by an instructor. This default grade is supplied by the end of the semester following the semester in which the course was offered.
Incomplete Grades. Instructors must complete and submit to the CGU Registrar's Office the Incomplete Grade Submission and Student Contract for Course Completion form whenever an I (Incomplete) grade is assigned.
