MPH Students have the option to take a course involving supervised directed research in any semester they choose. The course involves work with a SCGH faculty member who is conducting an ongoing program of research. The course can be used as an elective or substitution for an MPH concentration course. Registration in the course, CGH 390: Directed Research (2-4 units), requires an Enrollment Form and Memo of Understanding. Students are required to compose a project proposal and identify MPH student competencies to be addressed in this course. Students receive a grade of Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory.
