The Claremont Graduate University McNair Scholars Program is proud to host the First Annual Southern California McNair Scholars Research Conference. The research conference is designed to commemorate the dedication and success of Ronald E. McNair Post-baccalaureate Programs in being one of the leaders in preparing low-income, first-generation college students, and students from underrepresented groups for a doctoral education and thus changing the face of academia.
It is a wonderful opportunity for McNair Scholars from all over the United States to convene and present their research projects in sunny Southern California to faculty scholars, peers, friends, and all those who are an integral part of their support system. Scholars will have various opportunities to:
Network with faculty who are McNair alumni
Network with faculty who have been in the forefront of change
Meet with various graduate school representatives from all over the United States
Meet with graduate school representatives from Claremont Graduate University
Attend an array of workshops covering topics like: Graduate School Preparation, Professional Development, Leadership Development
Please invite your McNair Scholars and join us in celebration of their accomplishments as well as yours!
