Each year prior to the Saturday Commencement activities, a special forum is held at CGU. This forum is hosted by a different school each year focusing on timely topics of the host school's discipline.
The 2011 Commencement Forum will feature a moderated panel of educational leaders - Linda Darling-Hammond, Carlos A. Garcia, Claude M. Steele and retired Congresswoman Diane Watson. This year's topic is, "The Urgency of Transforming Education for an Equitable, Diverse Society". Events are scheduled for Friday May 13th beginning at 2:30 pm and includes a reception at 4:30 pm.
