"Reading Darkness, Reading Scriptures"is a documentary film produced for ISS by Research Associates Velma Love ( Florida A&M University) and John L. Jackson, Jr. (University of Pennsylvania). The film includes a series of vignettes that elucidate the complex relationships between African Americans and the Bible.
