Catherine Wagley

In Spring 2009 Catherine Wagley received her MFA in Painting and Drawing at CGU. She received a BA in Studio Art from Grinnell College.

Before tutoring for CGU's Writing Center, Catherine tutored at DePaul University's Writing Center in 2004 and 2005. She finds the one-to-one interaction that occurs in writing centers to be a rich model for learning and has done two ethnographic projects on the subject: "Writing Centers and the Competent Writer" (2005) and "Threshold: Grinnell's Writing Lab and Perpetual Liminality" (2006). 

Catherine works as an editor for GloobTV.com and also teaches art. In her own artwork, she is interested in exploring the interactions between visual and literary narratives.
