Why did you choose the Drucker FEMBA Program? I am passionate about education reform. I believe deeply that we need to improve public education so that all students have the opportunity to succeed in life, no matter their zip code. I am dedicated to working in the education sector to help achieve excellence for all children. At Drucker, I knew I would develop the business acumen to help me achieve my goals and be able to contribute strategically to innovative organizations that are changing the face of public education. I also felt confident I would obtain an education that recognizes the importance of the public sector and the benefits of business to society at large.

Career goals I hope to contribute greatly in my current role and then enhance my career until I have a more strategic role in determining our organizational priorities, which I see as incredibly important in the education sector. I imagine my future career continuing at like-minded organizations that are making a difference in public education and eventually returning at work at a foundation that invests in public education.

Experience in the classroom The faculty at Drucker is amazing. They bring an excitement to the material that enriches the conversation - you can tell they are deeply invested in their work. Additionally, they make complex subjects easy to understand and are patient at answering questions. The small class size allows for individual contributions and attention.

What are your expectations in the FEMBA Program?  I hope to further develop my leadership and management skills (managing myself and others) so that I have a deeper understanding of how to influence and collaborate in order to achieve results.

Getting away from it all   I live in Los Angeles, a very vibrant city. From hiking in the hills to walking on the beach, enjoying the outdoors all year long makes for a great quality of life. From the downtown art walk to the Hammer, LACMA, MOCA, and the Getty, the visual arts scene cannot be beat.
