Newly Admitted SPE Students FAQs
When and how do I register for classes?
New incoming students register for classes when they meet with their faculty advisor during New Student Orientation. Together, you and your faculty advisor will select the appropriate classes. New students do not register for classes online or in advance.
When is payment due?
For newly admitted students, the payment deadline is September 26. Please view the Student Accounts web page, FAQs. Feel free to contact Patty or Kristina with additional questions.
Can I still apply for financial aid?
Yes, please review the FAQs. Then follow up with Rosie, Pat or Susie as need.
Who is my faculty advisor?
Faculty advisors are assigned during New Student Orientation, which normally takes place a week or two before the start of the semester. Your faculty advisor will be a professor that oversees the major field you are interested in pursuing.
When will I receive my Student ID?
You will receive your Student ID after New Student Orientation.
When will I get access to my e-mail and student portal?
You will receive access to your email and student portal at New Student Orientation.
