Location

The workshops will take place at Claremont Graduate University in the Ron W. Burkle Family Building. The Burkle Building is located at 1021 N. Dartmouth Ave, Claremont, CA 91711. Each morning begins with a brief group session in room Burkle 16, adjacent to the Registration Booth.
Parking is free in the parking lots located on College Ave & 8th St, Dartmouth Ave & 9th St, and between College & Dartmouth on 11th St. Street parking is also available during the workshops.

Directions
From the 10 Fwy: Exit Indian Hill Blvd and head north. (Westbound 10: Right on Indian Hill Blvd. Eastbound 10: Left on Indian Hill Blvd.) Turn right on Arrow Route. Turn left on College Ave. Continue 11 blocks north to 11th St. Turn right on 11th St. The parking lots on the right and left sides of 11th St. will be clearly marked. (The Burkle Family Building is located on the south-west corner of 11th St & Dartmouth Ave. The workshops will be held downstairs on the 1st floor.)
From the 210 Fwy: Exit Towne Ave and head south. (Westbound 210: Left on Towne Ave. Eastbound 210: Right on Towne Ave.) Continue south about 1 mile. Turn left on Foothill Blvd (first major cross street). Continue past Indian Hill Blvd. Turn right on Dartmouth Ave (first stoplight after Indian Hill Blvd). Turn right on 11th St. Parking lots to the right and left sides of 11th St. will be clearly marked. (The Burkle Family Building is located on the south-west corner of 11th St & Dartmouth Ave. The workshops will be held downstairs on the 1st floor.)
Transportation Services
Airport: The most convenient airport to Claremont is the Ontario International Airport in Ontario California: http://www.lawa.org/ont/ontframe.html. Transportation from the airport to area hotels can be arranged through the telephones at the ground transportation board in the baggage claim areas. Taxi service or a shuttle to the car rental office can also be found at these terminals. Reservations are not required for door-to-door shuttle service, but if you want to call ahead of time, these are the numbers:

(Other airports in the area are Burbank, Los Angeles International (LAX), and John Wayne Airport, each of which is approximately an hour drive from Claremont if there is no traffic.)
Accommodations
Workshop participants are responsible for arranging lodging.
The Doubletree Hotel Claremont (by far the closest to our location) offers a special Claremont Graduate University rate of $105 per night for a standard room, and $115 per night for a deluxe room. These rates may be obtained by called the Doubletree and simply mentioning the Claremont Graduate University corporate rate.

Dining
Attendees of our workshop series have many options for dining during the lunch break. This link leads to a Google Map of local restaurants. Our staff will be very happy to make recommendations based on your needs. A detailed map of local eateries will be available at check-in during the workshops.
During the week (Monday August 25 through Wednesday August 27), participants typically join our presenters each day for lunch at one of the local campus dining halls. These cafeterias generally accept cash only.
Please note that campus dining halls are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. On August 22, 23, and 24, all participants are encouraged to join us for keynote addresses, which include a buffet lunch. Each talk and lunch may be enjoyed for $10 (cash or check), paid at the door, or you may save your seat in advance by paying online. Follow this link for more details on the lunchtime keynote talks.
