Services

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) has two principal functions: supporting CGU faculty in preparing and submitting grants and contracts for extramural funding, and supporting the CGU Institutional Review Board, which has oversight responsibility for protection of participants in faculty and student research projects. ORSP has the designated institutional authority to approve and transmit external grant and contract proposals. The proposal support services offered include funding and information searches; budget development; advice on proposal strategies; assurances, certifications, and procedural compliance; formatting and packaging; and electronic assembly and submission.  The Office is service-oriented, and it offers workshops on request within the campus community in any area of staff expertise.
