With a deep commitment to social justice, accountability and leadership, the School of Educational Studies at Claremont Graduate University is producing visionary educational professionals, who are ready to take on the challenges that face the field of education.
The School of Educational Studies occupies an unusual niche in the world of graduate programs, in that we offer a small, intimate, high touch and individualized plan of study.  As the first graduate school within the Claremont Colleges, the School of Educational Studies has been in existence for over 80 years.  Throughout this time, the school has concentrated on providing high quality teaching in a small, classical environment.  Our faculty take great pride in their research and teaching and students have responded with great praise and stisfaction.   Whether a student comes to SES for our Teacher Internship Education Program or our variety of masters and doctoral programs, they leave well equipped, with the necessary skills to find solutions to problems confronting education.
We take great pride in graduates, who have gone on to become members of Congress, university presidents, professors, researchers, superintendents, principals, vice principals and classroom teachers.  Led by the top authorities in the field, our programs offer a substantive and dynamic approach to education.
