Electronic Mailing Lists

CGU Email:  All CGU students are required and expected to use their CGU email account to receive important administrative announcements and reminders. 

A few Helpful things to note:

  1. The email pattern is first.last@cgu.edu except in cases where a student's name is the same as another's.
  2. New students are automatically assigned a cgu.edu email account at the beginning of their first semester.  Those accounts and additional information will be distributed by your academic department.
  3. Any student who prefers to use a personal or work email account must have their cgu.edu email account forwarded to that preferred account.  You can do this with the help of OIT (Office of Information Technology).
  4. The Helpdesk is located in ACB109 or you can visit one of the student labs for assistance.  Please make sure to have with you your student ID card containing a current semester sticker on the back.

The School of Information Systems and Technology (SISAT) maintains a separate email distribution list. Again the standard pattern is first.last@cgu.edu except in cases where a student's name is the same as another's.

At the beginning of each semester this list is updated to include new students with the standard first.last@cgu.edu.
