Academic Technology
Supports faculty, staff and students with technological academic needs such as instructional design, classroom technology training, webcasting and course management sytems which is currently SAKAI. We also design the CGU web pages and maintain the content mangement sytem, Sitebuilder, which is used here at CGU.

Administrative Computing
Administrative Computing Services supports the University’s administrative systems and databases. CGU currently relies on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.0 and Millennium 7.6. The Administrative Computing staff works closely with the users from various student affairs departments as well as academic departments to ensure that reports, new programs and additional features are developed to advance CGU’s goals.

Rao Amanchi, Sr. Programmer/Analyst (rao.amanchi@cgu.edu) The Programmer/Analyst manages various technical development aspects of PeopleSoft and Millennium enterprise application systems. Any integration of these enterprise applications with other CGU and non-CGU systems is handled by the Programmer/Analyst.
Primary responsibilities: PeopleSoft Learning Solutions system - Campus Community, Student Admissions, Student Financials, Student Records, Financial Aid, and Academic Advisement. Millennium Fundraising - Campaign management, Donor relations and Alumni relationsStuart Fermenick, Database Administrator (stuart.fermenick@cgu.edu) The Database Administrator implements, supports and maintains the hardware, software including databases, web servers, middleware, and portals for the various administrative enterprise servers.

Acts as a primary intermediary between Administrative Computing services and the user community for various end-user support functions.
Technical Services
Provides the backbone for computing at CGU by managing and maintaining our cable plant, network infrastructure, servers and network operating systems, desktop computing systems, and wireless access points. We provide and manage e-mail, file storage, backup/recovery systems among other technical areas to support the user community.
