Center and long time supporter of the Claremont Colleges. Once a small collection in a single bookcase, this special library of the Claremont Graduate University's School of Educational Studies now fills the rooms of a cozy house with a circulating collection of more than 20,000 trade books for young people.

Check Out Privileges
Free to students, faculty, and staff of the Claremont Colleges. Others pay an annual membership fee to the Friends of the Stone Library. Books are checked out to adults only. Children must be accompanied by an adult in the library.

General Collection-4 weeks, no renewal
Special Collections-1 week, no renewal
No book drop is available. You must return books during library hours.

Maximum number of books you may have checked out-10
Fines
10¢ per book per day
Care of Books
Please handle the books you check out with care. Discuss with children the proper care and handling of library books. Do not keep books in your car for an extended length of time; heat is especially damaging to books. You will be charged for any excessive wear or damage to books.
