The Friends of the Stone Library is a community group which supports and participates in the activities of the George G. Stone Center for Children's Books.
Events
The Friends of the Stone Library sponsors the Story Time at the Stone Center program opened to the public each Saturday from 10:00 am-11:00 am from September to May. This program for young children includes readings and book-related activities.

In addition to supporting the ongoing operation and programming of the Center, the Friends of the Stone Library periodically sponsors lectures, book sales, and family-oriented activities.
Circulation Privileges
Friends of the Stone Library may borrow up to 10 books at a time for a four week period. Books are checked out only to adults. Children must be accompanied by parents or adult caregivers.
