Ways to find resources:
  1. Guides by the 3 types:
  • How-To Guides - step-by-step instructions for accomplishing a task 
     
  • Software Guides - brief overview of single application that is designed to get the user up and running with the software quickly.
     
  • Teaching with Technology Guides - a brief overview of the key educational issues and technical factors that are involved in the use of a particular instructional technology: describes what it is, how it works, when and where it can be used, advantages/ disadvantages, provides samples of best practices, and links to key resources.

 Once you have found a resource, choose the learning format that meets your needs:
(some of the resources are not available in multiple formats at this time.)

  • QuickStart Guides - HTML files or the printer friendly PDF files.
  • Movies - downloadable video versions of the How-To and Software guides.
  • Other Resources
    • Tutorials - links on how to use software located at CGU's Resources Center and other CGU locations as well as links to non-CGU resources.
    • CGU Workshops - instructor-led training that is developed in-house (hands-on or demo).
    • Virtual Resources - links to any of a variety of online repositories, archives, web sites, or communication forums that provide access to information, resources, or a knowledge-base of user/experts related to learning and teaching with technology.
