| Biography |
| Jeffrey Lewis, an Associate Professor at Pitzer College in Claremont, has worked in the areas of applied social psychology, organizational behavior and evaluation. Over the last ten years, Jeff has worked with Dr. Mara Winick (of the University of Redlands) studying dimensions of the learning environment in California K-12 schools. He has also spent the past few years working on evaluation teams as part of the state's II/USP process and as a principle in a multi-state study of school components and their relation to effective mathematics education in grades 4 through 8.
Jeff received his undergraduate training at U.C.L.A. and his Ph.D. in Developmental and Social Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and he has taught courses at Scripps College, Pomona College, CGU's IS department, as well as at Pitzer College since 1989. Over the years, Jeff has offered courses in Organizational Behavior, Social Psychology, Intercultural Communication, Nonverbal Communication, Research Methods, Human Resource Development, Small Group Processes, Organizational Communication, and History and Systems of Psychology.
