Which rooms* can be reserved through the Office of Admission and Records?

Room requests for classroom space are assigned with the following priority:

  1. Academic class session
  2. Qualifying exams / dissertation defenses
  3. TA sessions
  4. Faculty / staff / student requests for meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.

How to reserve a room:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed on your PC. Here is a link to update Adobe should you need to: http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/ 
  2. View the calendar of rooms in the public folders of Outlook.
  3. Shop for the room you would like to use based on availability for your time needs.
  4. Complete the Room Usage Request form at this link: ROOM USAGE REQUEST FORM.
  5. Once you have filled out the form, you can either click on the FILE menu in the PDF document and select the Email option. This will allow you to email the form as an attachment to rooms@cgu.edu OR you can complete the form, save it to your computer and then email it to rooms@cgu.edu as an attachment.
    1. We recommend that you CC yourself in the email to rooms in order to have a copy of the request for your records.
  6. You will receive a confirmation once your request has been processed.
  7. All audio/visual requests must be made through the Office of Information Technology.
