Third Party Enrollment Verification

This page is designed to guide outside parties through CGU’s process for verifying our students’ education to you.

What We Can Do For You
Because we adhere to the federal privacy law for higher education, FERPA, our office will only confirm the following items (Directory Information) about our current and former students:
• a student’s name
• CGU email address (not applicable for former students)
• degree/certificate program of study
• concentration of study
• dates of attendance
• any degrees or certificates received
• degree or certificate conferral date

What Information You Need To Have Available
When you contact us, please present the student’s full name and the degree or certificate name that you would like to confirm.

IMPORTANT: We cannot verify a student’s education from a social security number or birth date. Please do not present these items in your inquiry. Doing so violates the federal privacy law, FERPA.
