Message from the Director
Thanks to the generous support of the Maldonado family, the endowed Maldonado Institute for International Security and Global Leadership has been established to conduct research and to provide strategic and usable information to both government and business organizations worldwide. Our research areas include international conflict, homeland security, terrorism, and geopolitics, as well as other issues that affect major international relations such as energy, demography, and immigration. The Institute also aims at enriching the academic and learning quality of faculty and students at Claremont Graduate University through workshops, conferences, speaker series, and sponsored projects.
