California Botanic Garden (formerly Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden) is the largest botanic garden dedicated to California native plants and is home to Claremont Graduate University’s master’s and PhD programs in Botany. Spread across 86 acres in Claremont, California, the garden displays about 2000 taxa of California plants and includes those native to the California Floristic Province as a whole. California Botanic Garden conservation programs play a major role in saving species and protecting natural habitats for future generations.
