The Cultural Studies Department at Claremont Graduate University is hosting a semester-long series of events to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Join us for our next Bradshaw Conference event “AfroFutures: An Afternoon with Anaïs Duplan.”
Trans* poet, curator, and artist An Duplan will present his poetry, performance, media and curatorial practice with the larger movement of Afrofuturist artistic practices, in conversation with the audience. Duplan is author of Blackspace: On the Poetics of an Afrofuture and Take This Stallion.
Discussants: Eileen Isagon Skyers (Artist and Curator) and Clayton Colmon (Cultural Studies, CGU).
