Bob Chapman, chairman and CEO of Missouri-based Barry-Wehmiller, a $3B global manufacturing business, has grown his organization from a ‘me-centric’ culture to a ‘we-centric’ culture by making sure every voice counts.
Chapman developed a program he calls Truly Human Leadership—a people-centric approach where employees feel valued, cared for, and an integral part of the company’s purpose. At Barry-Wehmiller, the organization seeks to pay people fairly, treat them superbly, and compete globally. Chapman is most proud of his company’s unique measure of success: by the way they touch the lives of people.
Be our guest as CGU President Len Jessup explores with Bob how organizations should engage with their employees and how he has come to discover that recognition is the key to true success. Discover Bob’s thoughts on the human side of management as we begin to emerge from our COVID nightmare.
